Buffalo waterfront
If the weather is nice, head down to the Buffalo waterfront. Visit the newly renovated Naval and Serviceman Park and the commercial slip, where your can learn a bit about the early history of the Erie Canal.
The Erie Basin Marina is a great place to take a walk. There’s even a small beach for sand play and sunning (no swimming, however, as the water has dangerous currents). The view from the observation tower at the end of the marina is great. If hunger strikes, the Hatch is a great spot for a bite to eat, just watch out for the seagulls!
