Garden Walk Buffalo

More than 250 gardens will be open during one of the largest garden tours in the country. Free, self-guided tour. Maps available at Richmond Summer Senior Center, Buffalo Seminary and Allentown Association.

Paddle Up Niagara 2008

Enjoy paddling on the Niagara River. Also enjoy exhibits, safety clinics, and the opportunity to try out kayaks and canoes.

Bubblefest
Saturday July 26, 10-4 at the Buffalo Museum of Science, 1020 Humboldt Parkway, 716-896-5200, http://www.buffalomuseumofscience.org/ This annual event features all sorts of bubble activities, including an appearance by bubble master, Casey Carle. $1 includes all bubble activities, along with admission to the museum.

Queen City Jazz Festival
Saturday July 26, starting at 1pm. Colored Musicians Club, 145 Broadway near Michigan Avenue. This 3rd annual free summer concert series features performances by Carol McLaughlin, Jazz Line, Joyce Carolyn, and others.

Balloons Over Niagara
July 25-27. Niagara County Community College, 3111 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn 716-614-NCCC. This three day event will commemorate the Niagara County Bicentennial. Events include balloon launches, balloon glows, musical entertainment, artisan demonstrations and more.
