One of the best ways to learn about Buffalo's history and architecture to to take a tour through Buffalo Tours, which is run by Preservation Buffalo Niagara. This past Sunday my husband and I went on the Millionaire's Row walking tour along Delaware Avenue, which was very interesting. We had previously gone on their War of 1812 boat tour back in July.
