Went out to lunch for my birthday with my friends Mary and Linda to the Palette Cafe in North Tonawanda. This cute little tea room and cafe is part of the Hodge Podge store and art gallery, which is right across the street from the Riviera Theater.
I had the daily special panini, which had a baked chicken breast with avocado and red onions; I also had the mushroom soup. Linda had a chef salad, which had a nice variety of greens, Mary had the mushroom soup and a turkey panini. For dessert, I had the cinnamon roll, served warm, while Mary opted for the lemon bar, which tasted just like lemon meringue pie.
